Hebrews 11:1 The Journey Starts Here with my New Blog

Life

Filled with joy, sorrow, ups, downs, twist and turns.  Always changing. Growing. Successes and failures. At times exciting. At times it feels like a losing battle.  My life has not led me on the journey that I thought I would travel but it has given me the experiences that molded me into  the woman I am today. Life does not always go as planned. What do we do then? Life is not always fair. How do we respond? Like you, I have had my share of struggles as well as beautiful miracles.  I am still on the "journey" and I would love you to join me.  Life is always better when traveling with someone. Let's be real. Let's connect. Share pieces of our journey. We need each other to keep going. Today is a new day.  Thank God for the gift of life and the journey we are on.

Faith

It takes faith to stay the course and enjoy the journey.  Faith is the light that leads us to hope. Without faith we will get lost in the process.

"Faith is being sure of what we HOPE for and certain of what we do not see" Hebrews 11:1 (NIV)
"Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him." Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)

Along the way my faith has not always been strong, but through the struggles it has strengthened and deepened my faith.  With every experience, I have to CHOOSE to believe God. Walk by faith not by sight. Believe that He is with me.  Guiding me each step as I look to Him to lead.  And on those days when my faith is small, God is still working and is faithful.

Inspiration

I hope you will join me on this journey. No matter where you are, decide today to keep moving forward. Embrace the process. Believe the BEST is yet to come. Oh, believe me I know there are many moments you want to quit and not finish the journey. I have had many of those days. Today may be one of those days for you, but can I encourage you to get up, look up and keep moving forward?  We have made it this far and God will ensure that we make it all the way! There is too much to be discovered and experienced! Don't give up now!  There are others who need what God has placed inside of you and me.  Let's move forward together. One step at time. One day at a time. Embrace the journey!
"Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6(NIV)
Where are you in your journey today?
Let's chat. Leave me a comment.

BLESSINGS, Robin

  2. Our journey it's easier when we share it with those around us that are willing to be our prayer partners with out judging us when we feel we have fail, but will encourage us to get up and keep looking up holding on to Jesus' hand!

    Let's do this journey together!

  3. Bless you Robin and your new adventure in your life with Christ. You share my most favorite verse. Pastor P taught about that verse years ago and it has stuck with me all this time. He(Jesus) can be trusted, He restores us, nurtures us, urges us as we blunder our way through life. I've needed to trust so many times and He's always there. And when I have done it my way, He patiently waits until I get my senses returned and trust again. I will be following your blog. Miss those days of yore at Midvale and all of that family. In a new place, with new family, but never forget the former. Love you!

  7. Love this! I remember at the women's conference a few months back you shared no matter what keep moving forward. I often thought of those words especially when our circumstances or people around us can cause us to be distracted or confused. We have to remember to keep our eyes on the prize... The Lord. Philippians 3:14. Great blog Robin.
